Terms and Conditions:
In consideration of participation in the Korea Meditation Journey 2026 ("Program"), I agree to the following terms:
1. Voluntary Participation: I have voluntarily entered into this Korea Meditation Journey 2026 Agreement (“Agreement”) and acknowledge that Think Opposite W.L.L, a Qatari corporation with its principal business address at P.O Box 2198 Doha, Qatar (“Company”), provides the Program and related activities (“Activities”) in reliance on my consent.
2. Payment Terms: I agree to the Payment Plan set out on the cover page of this Agreement. The deposit of USD 800 is non-refundable and due upon registration. If I elect to pay in installments, each installment due date entered on the cover page is independently binding on me, in addition to the overall Final Payment Deadline. Non-payment of any single installment by its stated due date, not only the Final Payment Deadline, may result in cancellation of my reservation without refund, at Company's discretion.
3. Refunds: All requests for refunds must be made in writing. Refund eligibility is tied to the accommodation provider's own cancellation deadline of 10 September 2026, after which the accommodation provider extends no refund to Company for reserved rooms; Company's refund policy to Participants mirrors this constraint and cannot exceed it. No refund of the deposit is available under any circumstance once paid, except as set out in the force-majeure provision below.
Refunds of the remaining program fee (excluding the non-refundable deposit) are available as follows:
● If a written refund request is received on or before 2 September 2026 (45 days or more before the Program start date), the remaining program fee paid (excluding the deposit) shall be refunded in full.
● If a written refund request is received between 3 September 2026 and 9 September 2026 (31–44 days before the Program start date), 50% of the remaining program fee paid shall be refunded.
● If a written refund request is received on or after 10 September 2026, no refund of any amount beyond what is recoverable from the accommodation provider (if any) shall be available, as Company is itself subject to a no-refund policy from the accommodation provider as of this date.
● In the event of force majeure or another unprecedented emergency circumstance (with proven documentation, subject to Company's approval), a refund beyond the above tiers may be considered on a case-by-case basis, at Company's sole discretion.
4. Visa and Travel Documentation: I acknowledge that securing any visa or entry documentation required for travel to South Korea is my sole responsibility, and that Company is not responsible for visa delays, denials, or refusals. No refund of the deposit, and no refund beyond what is recoverable under Clause 3 above, shall be available in the event my visa is delayed or denied, or in the event I am otherwise unable to travel. I am responsible for ensuring my passport remains valid for the required minimum period beyond the Program's return date.
5. Recording Authorization: I authorize Company to record, by audio, video, photo camera, or other means, my participation in the Activities. I grant Company the right to copyright such recordings, and to use and publish them, in whole or in part, worldwide in perpetuity. This authorization expressly includes the right to record, reproduce, or otherwise use my name, likeness, image, voice, appearance and/or performance for promotional, journalistic, and archival purposes, subject to the notice and consent principles described
below.
Where filming or photography records general views of Program locations and any images of individuals are incidental, formal consent is not required, provided notices are clearly communicated so individuals may choose to move out of frame. Where Company wishes to use images featuring identifiable Participants for promotional purposes (e.g. a Program video), Participants are under no obligation to take part, and Company relies on the Participant's consent via signature of this Agreement. This consent may be withdrawn at any time as to future use, by written notice to Company, though Company retains rights to materials already published prior to such withdrawal.
6. Representation and Physical Readiness: I represent and warrant that I have been examined, or have had the opportunity to be examined, by a licensed physician prior to participating in the Activities, and that I am in good health and fully able to perform the physical exercises and practices involved. I agree to comply with all rules and regulations provided, and acknowledge that my participation may be terminated for disregard of them. I understand that certain sessions may require staff instructors to touch parts of my body as part of the practice; if I have any objection or sensitivity to touching, it is my responsibility to inform staff in advance. By signing this Agreement, I consent to appropriate touching by staff instructors in the context of the Activities.
7. Proprietary Materials: I understand that all materials, concepts, and information (“Materials”) presented during the Activities, whether orally or in writing, are the property of Company. I agree not to copy, record, modify, transmit, display, perform, create derivative works from, or otherwise reproduce any Materials without Company's prior written permission.
8. Confidentiality: To respect the privacy of other Participants and Company's intellectual property, I agree that I will not publish, broadcast, disclose, or assist another person or organization in publishing, broadcasting, or disclosing the identity, likeness, or actual or paraphrased comments of other Participants, staff, or persons delivering the Program. I will not record any portion of the Program by audio, video, photo camera, or other means, and I will not bring into Program premises any recording device intended to capture the voice or likeness of any person present, except as authorized by Company.
9. Waiver of Liability: I, for myself, my personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin, acknowledge that participation in the Activities includes sessions that could cause physical or other injury, and that physical and mental demands may at times be strenuous. I voluntarily assume all such risks and acknowledge it is my responsibility to determine whether I am fit to participate. I release and hold harmless Company, its parent companies, subsidiaries, referring entities, the owners and lessors of premises used for the Activities, and their respective employees, agents, directors, and officers (“Company Parties”) from any and all claims, actions, costs, damages, and liabilities arising out of or connected to the Activities, whether known or unknown, including but not limited to injury, loss or theft of personal property, and wrongful death. I covenant not to sue any Company Parties on any legal theory arising from my participation in the Activities.
10. Governing Law and Venue: This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, excluding conflict-of-law principles that would direct application of another jurisdiction's laws. All disputes arising from this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the State of Qatar.
11. Miscellaneous Provisions: I acknowledge that no representations or promises were made to me that are not stated in this Agreement. This Agreement supersedes all prior oral or written agreements on the same subject matter and may only be modified by a written instrument signed by both parties. If any portion of this Agreement is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
I have read this Agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it, and have signed it freely and without inducement, intending it to be a complete and unconditional release of liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
